Fontás extends his contract until 2019
At last, good news about Andreu Fontás. The player and Celta have agreed to extend his contract for four more seasons. Therefore, the defender, who has been coveted by several Italian clubs, will play in Balaídos until 2019. "It is a special day for me. I have been in Vigo for two wonderful years and I hope to enjoy the next four. I desire to continue developing here", said the 25-year-old player, who joined the club in 2013 and has played 71 games so far.
Celta will start the competition on the 23rd of August
Finally, Celta knows the time of its first clash this season. The team will start at Ciutat de Valencia against Levante on Sunday the 23rd of August at 10:30 pm. The next fixture, first game at Balaídos, will be on Saturday the 29th at 6:30 pm against Rayo Vallecano.
